Erica de Rosquitte was eagerly awaiting her tenth birthday. It was the day she would finally awaken her elemental powers and become a true member of the royal bloodline. However, she was also filled with fear and dread, knowing that her mother, the queen of the magic spirits, planned to kill her once she obtained her powers.
As the day approached, Erica's anxiety grew. She spent her days studying and practicing, determined to be ready for whatever lay ahead. She knew that her mother would not give up her power easily, and she needed to be prepared for any eventuality.
Finally, the day arrived. Erica stood before the royal court, her heart pounding with anticipation. The emperor and his sons, as well as the other members of the court, watched as she closed her eyes and focused her energy.
Suddenly, a bright light filled the room, and Erica felt a surge of power coursing through her veins. She opened her eyes to see a ball of fire dancing in her hand. She had obtained the element of fire, just like her older brother, Chris. Later she found plants growing everywhere, she had also obtained the element of earth and space time magic.
The court erupted in cheers and applause and was also surprised about the power she unlocked, and Erica felt a sense of pride and accomplishment wash over her. For a moment, she forgot about her mother's plans and basked in the glory of her newfound power.
But then she remembered. Her mother was waiting for her, ready to take her powers and her life. Erica knew that she couldn't let that happen. She had to find a way to protect herself and take control of her own destiny.
As she left the court and made her way back to her chambers, Erica felt a sense of determination settling over her. She would not let her mother win. She would fight for her right to live and to rule over the magic spirits.
