I was born in a middle class family. My father was very abusive and he wanted me to get top rank for his reputation. So I became the number one top ranking student in the world. Despite my father being abusive I still loved him. But then he died due to illness. Ever since then my mother became crazy and started hitting me. Since my father died we couldn’t afford things so I had to work hard for the both of us. I still did my best in my studies. Since I became poor , people around me started bullying me and all my friends left me. I couldn’t take it anymore so I killed myself.
The next thing I knew, I woke up in another place.
“Where am I?” I said to myself. Later a women said, “ I am taking this child with me.” Then a male voice replied, “do as you please but don’t ever show your face here again!”.
After some days, I heard voices saying that I was unlucky to be born like this. It turns out I was an illegitimate child of the royal family. And my name was Erica de rosquitte. The voices I heard were my maids sent by the emperor to take care of me.
The maids gossiped a lot. But it was useful as it let me know more about this place. It turns out my my mother belonged to an extinct race , magic spirits.
My father, Arjen de rosquitte is the emperor of the empire called spade kingdom. I have two older brother, Chris de rosquitte, the first prince and Aran de rosquitte , the second prince. The emperor’s wife, Yalana de rosquitte was the empress. She died of an unknown illness. The emperor loved his wife and refused to give up her seat to anyone.
The rumours are spread that the emperor slept with my mother and then abandoned us since he regretted it. But I think that may not be the actual reason.
The emperor would have killed me if I didn’t have blonde hair and red eyes. As only the ones of the royal blood had these trait.
As I grew older, my mother started abusing me. Since I am used to the abuse I didn’t really care about it.
The only reason I stayed alive was because I wanted to take a different path. I died once but I received a second chance to live so I want to live the best way possible.
First I needed knowledge. So when I was 2 years old I learned to read and write the language. The concepts were similar to the ones back in earth so it was easier to learn them all.
By the age of 8, I had already gotten the knowledge a top ranking scholar would have. The maids were surprised by my learning speed and called me a genius.
I found out that I would get my elemental powers by the age of 10. Basic elemental types included fire, water, earth , air and lightning. It was again branched to various other types.
The people of the royal blood were the only ones with magical powers. The emperor could use light , element under lightning. The first prince, Chris de rosquitte had fire and the second prince, Aran de rosquitte could use lightning. The element earth can only be obtained in once in a million years.
The people with this element is said to be immortal and could wield another type of magic called space time. The people who had the chance of getting the element are from the extinct clan, magic spirits. Since this was extinct years ago there aren’t much details about it.
The magic spirits can wield two elements which means if a person were to get earth element , they would get space time and also another elemental magic along with it. The magic spirits are ruled by a queen. My mother was the queen. Being the queen, they are able to talk with animal spirits and have their loyalty pledged by having them by their side.
Since I am the daughter of the spirit queen, I will inherit the abilities and responsibilities by becoming the new queen. But if I were to die it would go back to my mother.
My mother decides to kill me once I obtain magical powers.
The royal blood are said to have large amount of mana. My mother gave birth to me so that she can suck my powers along with my large amount of mana after I awaken them at the age of 10. And then remain a queen of spirits forever and take over the emperor’s throne by obtaining power.
